Anthony Berger, Skating School Director, is a USA Roller Sports Advanced Certified Coach. He has coached
many national champion skaters and his students have represented the USA on the World and Pan American teams. Tony has been
honored by the Southern Region as a multiple winner of the Coach of the Year award. In 2003, he was selected as the United
States Olympic Committee Roller Sports Developmental Coach of the Year. Coach Tony is skilled in working with all levels of
skaters from the beginner to the world class athlete.
Sharon King is a member of a roller skating family and has been skating since the age of 2. She has been
a
USA Roller Sports Certified Instructor for 12 years. Sharon has been a regional and national champion in solo dance, team dance and figures.
She has had students compete at the regional and national level, with several placing or winning at the national championships.
Sharon teaches students of all ages and is qualified to teach all of the various skating disciplines.
Michael Vickey began coaching at Semoran Skateway in 1989 after skating as a competitor since the rink's
opening in 1978. He has been a national competitor in all disciplines of roller figure skating. Michael Vickey served as a
member of the US National Judges Panel from 1983 to 1988. During his years at Semoran Skateway he has coached skaters of all
ages from beginners to national champions. Michael has coached 18 national champions in figure skating, dance skating, freeskating
and pairs. In 1998, he was named Southern Region Coach of the year.
