There is an entire industry out there that you are missing out on! All the kids who grew up in the 70s 80s and 90s are all grown professionals now and guess what we still do with our free time? That’s right we still skate frequently. I personally belong to a group that skates four or five times a week 50 members strong. And we barely put a dent in the crowd that usually shows up! We’re not out there spending the $10 that mom and dad gave us to spend at concession stand. We’re out there hungry for dinner because we rushed to get to the rink after work and haven’t eaten. We’re thirsty for an alcoholic beverage to have with our dinner before we go skating. We are looking for pro shops that have something we actually want to buy instead of having to search online and buy used from people. All these rings that have closed they all made the same mistake they kept doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Yes the children will keep the electric on but the adults will put your children though College. Think I’m talking nonsense, do you research, look at the adult night skates that are happening out there. Some of us travel an hour or an hour and a half to get to rinks to go to an adult skate where there’s not a little kids in the way. All that gas money is money that we could be spending at your rink instead? It’s your choice go the way of all those rinks that have been bulldozed or turned into warehouses or follow the new trend and realize that we are all still skating and we need somewhere to go!
